Flightcontrol is a YC-backed cloud platform that brings PaaS-level ease to AWS, while keeping the infrastructure in the customer's own account.
For a product built to take the pain out of cloud infrastructure, a strong brand narrative was key to tying everything together. We swapped dashboards for mission control, projects for spaceships and everyday workflows for one cohesive experience.
SpaceshipsA spaceship is a project. You assemble it, maintain it, and enter the engine room if you need to.
IllustrationsThe world is carried over into the product by these illustrations that come in in places where we’ve got enough (head) space for it.
We wanted the product to remain spacious and calm. Rather than mirroring the complexity underneath, we created an experience that's clear, organized and compelling to use.
The lofty Flightcontrol world needed something more tactile. Motion, illustrations, iconography and subtle interactions bring it down to earth, making the interface feel responsive and rewarding to use.
IconographySometimes an icon alone is not enough. Built on simplicity, but with an understanding of what matters, these icons say exactly as much as they need to.
Flightcontrol does serious work without feeling like serious work. From its architecture to the smallest interaction, the experience stays clear, cohesive and genuinely enjoyable.

Flightcontrol x Overnice
We started with Flightcontrol when all they had was a name and a first MVP. What began with brand, product and launch grew into a long-standing partnership, eventually taking us into their next chapter as Ravion.
